POSITION
Summary:
This key position will work on 2nd shift in the Edmond, OK Nestle PURINA factory where QUALITY is high priority. They will be part of a highly trained team of QA experts that are responsible for timely and accurate generation & completion of analytical, formulation, process and product information for the manufacturing of dry pet foods.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Analyze finished product using various test methods, including wet chemistry
Perform formulations including format, bin bottoms, ingredient changes, and fines utilization
Perform sensory evaluations of in process and finished product
Investigate & communicate all quality results plus recommend corrections to production personnel
Use various software applications for data entry, investigation, and analysis: GPMQ, web reporting, I-fix, WMS, MS Outlook, SAP, Ingredient Receiving, FORMAT, Colorimeter, CARMA, Formal Release, Process QA, and Pack QA
Maintain Instrument calibrations
Execute hold product procedures in a timely manner
Analyze data and release product through formal release & GLOBE programs
Sample and test incoming ingredients
Nestle Continuous Excellence Program (NCE)
Perform all other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience (Years/Type):
1
years working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work 2nd shift.
