IT - Data and Help Desk Team Member

This position covers 2 different roles data and mail preparation and IT help desk.
Data/Mail This position is responsible for presorting mail, preparing data for our manufacturing process, making sure mail is packaged correctly, and processing paperwork for mail entry.
This role is an integral part of SSI to provide our customer's great service.
This position requires a quick thinker, someone who can look at similar situations, notice the differences and adjust the processes to ensure that each unique job gets the best postage rate possible while meeting the customers' expectations for delivery.
You will also help with the physical sorting and traying of mail when additional help is needed.
IT help desk This position will provide help desk assistance to internal employees with technical issues and help customers with multiple websites we provide for analytic data on their advertising campaigns.
For those with previous experience or knowledge of MS server and server maintenance there is room in this position to assist with server support and projects.
Job Requirements:
Working Knowledge of USPS standards for presort and mail entry.
Familiar with Excel and using formulas.
Use problem solving skills, and critical thinking to determine the correct steps to transform the data files and data requests to match our data templates for production.
Use in-house and 3rd-party applications to get desired data output.
Attention to detail and able to work will with others.
Working Knowledgeable and provide advanced trouble shooting windows 7/10/11, MAC OS Microsoft Office Suite (primarily excel and outlook), Adobe Creative Cloud, email filter, Sage Accpac, Misys ERP, and production floor software.
Installing and configuring network print devices Basic network setup and connection troubleshooting.
Run cable as needed.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Server, and VMware is a plus Certification or computer related degree is a plus.
Physical requirements:
Be able to set at a desk for extended period of time Be able to go up and down stairs as needed Left up to 50 lbs Be on feet for duration of shift Use hand tools and grip large amount of cards.
Climb up and down ladders as needed.
Must be able to pass company background checks and drug screen.
